| FRIP’s
UK sites have the fastest and most technically advanced equipment
available
to any dedicated
foiling
and embossing operation
in the UK. Combined
with our range of equipment each site is staffed to meet the most demanding
of delivery
requirements
and adopts the 24/7 approach
necessary to be successful in the print finishing sector. We offer a full range of techniques including:
Flat stamping – where
a layer of foil is applied to the surface of a substrate. Foils
are available in
a variety of Golds ,Silvers,
Metallic Colours, Pigments and Pearls, reflective and holographic
patterns.
Blind embossing - where paper
is raised with your design to give added relief or extra contrast
against your chosen
stock. Embossing
can be Single Level, Multi-Level or Micro
embossed to create added
perspectives. Alternatively de-bossing is the reverse
of the process.
Foil
embossing is the combination of flat foiling and blind embossing,
processed using a combination die in a single machine pass. The depth
and detail of the embossing is dependent on the detail required and
the nature of the surface and stock being used.
Texturing and micro
embossing – uses embossing techniques
combined with finely etched dies to give a background pattern to
an image in either foil or as an embossing.
Photo etch uses similar techniques to texturing
and micro embossing - with photo etch a bespoke image is placed
into the background.
Holography - We are
able to undertake registered image hologram application
up to B1 and 6 webs as well as having a range of smaller equipment
suitable for individual hologram application. We are also able
to offer simulated holographic foil application where bespoke holography
is not a cost effective option.
All of our embossing work is undertaken
using platen and auto-platen based equipment to provide superior
embossing quality and depth.

techniques in order to create the maximum effect for your client.
We are pleased to supply technique
